Assume we're not going to see much of Thompson if we have brought in a new guy who keeps him where he is in the pecking order.Wally Banter wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 4:05 pm https://www.leytonorient.com/2022/01/31 ... or-the-os/
With us playing three at the back and Mitchell needing an operation we did need another. Suggests no change from three at the back in the near future at least
Yes, the formation that isn't working and hasn't produced a single goal so far this year.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 4:54 pmWith us playing three at the back and Mitchell needing an operation we did need another. It worked generally ok up until the new year (remember we were seriously weakened v Tranmere) and wasn't great with defensive wing backs. That should be fixed now.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 4:57 pmYes, the formation that isn't working and hasn't produced a single goal so far this year.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 4:54 pmWith us playing three at the back and Mitchell needing an operation we did need another. We can play 3 at the back with Beckles,Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 4:54 pmWith us playing three at the back and Mitchell needing an operation we did need another. Suggests no change from three at the back in the near future at least
For it to work again we still need more experience in central midfield .Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 5:02 pmIt worked generally ok up until the new year (remember we were seriously weakened v Tranmere) and wasn't great with defensive wing backs. Out of interest, why do you say that?RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 5:06 pmFor it to work again we still need more experience in central midfield .Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 5:02 pmIt worked generally ok up until the new year (remember we were seriously weakened v Tranmere) and wasn't great with defensive wing backs. Because without Clay we're getting out fought and out thought in the middle . We have nobody there pulling the strings .Mind you if we keep banging it long to Smith I suppose it doesn't matterSmendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 5:33 pmOut of interest, why do you say that?RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 5:06 pmFor it to work again we still need more experience in central midfield .Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 5:02 pm

You don't need to be experienced to work hard, chase down/harry opposition players. We've hopefully got that covered with Ethan Coleman.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 7:09 pmBecause without Clay we're getting out fought and out thought in the middle .
