Is it simply about money. Plenty of clubs have thrown money at this league and got nowhere. Look at Salford. The teams we are losing to don’t have marquee signings . They play together as a team , are well drilled , fight for every second ball. We are doing none of those things.
It feels like it’s a team that have fallen out of love with Jacketts philosophy and don’t really have a coherent plan to work to. And he isn’t the first manager recently that this has happened to. It’s almost as though some other force is at play in the back room.

I can’t say , but it does appear that Ling is the common denominator here. I have no evidence of Ling causing these issues with managers , and I doubt anyone else does , but clearly something is not quite right.

And why would the players care about backroom staff like Ling? Poor form is down to the playing staff alone, we have the quality we've all seen it earlier in the season.

Well George, I agree with you. Something is far from right, and I believe it is Ling too. He is the only thing that joins all managers we've had since the present owners.

Yes. We have the quality and we certainly have seen it. But our loss of form can’t be down to losing James alone and it’s mystifying. We have done without an attacking midfield all season so it’s not just that. Hopefully Archibald’s return may change our fortunes as it doesn’t appear that Smyth will be the saviour Jackett was hoping for.

I don’t hate Ling. I don’t know what’s going on at the club. Just trying to understand how our form has all but disappeared. Don’t comment much on football because , as said previously , one win and opinion changes. But I do moan a lot at the games. Especially recently.
