At what point will Port Vale call off Saturday's game?

Port Vale have lost 4 games in a row and have players out with suspension, injury and Covid.

You can guarantee they won't want to play tomorrow despite what their manager has said so there is bound to be a "Covid outbreak" in their camp soon.

I dunno, I think a lot of clubs might think its a good time to play us. no match fitness, injuries of our own, huge pressure on us to win our games in hand as they are all against teams above us.

Maybe, but when you've lost four in a row and are weakened? We'd have beaten their full strength team earlier in the season but for a freak turnaround in injury time.

Fair point about our lack of match fitness though.

What a fuckin way to conduct affairs, half expecting the match to be called off. Enough of this COVID lark, play the fuckin game or forfeit the points.

Might as well cancel the rest of the season if Port Vale don’t turn up tomorrow.
I think many of us are losing interest, the whole thing is a farce.
Couldn’t believe looking at the League table earlier and we’re almost in the bottom half

The freak turnaround was when we went in front. We were lucky to be only one down at half time. I know if we fail to go up by just a couple of points, many will look back on this game because we let in two late goals. The reality is it would have been an injustice had we won the game. I was more frustrated when we didn't win at Scunthorpe and Rochdale.

Spot on , we could have been 3 down at half time at Vale Park ☹

Port Vale are a good team. I think we’ll do well today to hold them to a draw.

If they were going to pull a fast one early would have been the time to do it. Game on.
