Arsenal have one player with Covid but want to call a game off

Burnley Leicester also postponed

We know all too well the situation in the lower leagues.

Clubs are using Covid as an excuse to postpone games. The reality is they have players injured or at the acon or want to wait until they can make transfers. I don't know why the authorities are standing for it.

It’s annoying but it still may work in our favour. Reilly must be getting there now , Theo won’t miss as much , Smyth may be fully fit . We were on a bad run of form so perhaps this break may help. Time will tell

We now have 10 League 2 games scheduled from the 22nd January to the 26th February.
One every 3.5 days, hope this does work in our favour. We shall see.

Arsenal got 3 players out on loan. Their fault if they can't call them back.

Only 3? That is surprising.

Why? There are no players left to sign. Chelsea have signed everyone there is to sign and then lent them out.

It's not a new rule. Clubs are limited to squads of 25 in the epl, the number of players out on loan is irrelevant, they are not part of the 25. So you need 12 out to hit the postponement rule. With injuries, suspensions and afcon, covid is just tipping teams over the edge rather than being the main cause. Having said that, I think a few teams are taking the piss, like Burnley and arsenal with some key players out, a few knocks = players out too

I agree especially as they just sent Maitland-Niles out on loan a player who can cover RB and CM
