OMG, fantastic song, Freddie was amazing, truly great singer and showman.

The words and meaning are so true, time does NOT wait for anyone, live your life as best you can and while you can, before time takes that chance away from you.

Freddie Mercury: 'Lost' song Time Waits For No One premieres on Radio 2
A previously unheard Freddie Mercury track has premiered on BBC Radio 2, after a decade-long search for a lost vocal performance.
Time Waits For No One was originally part of the soundtrack to the 1986 West End musical Time.
The version released at the time featured the Queen star accompanied by dozens of layers of backing vocals.
But an early piano rehearsal of the song, featuring a different vocal take, has now been unearthed.
The song was written by Dave Clark, of 1960s pop group the Dave Clark Five - who felt the demo had a quality that was missing from the finished version. "When we first recorded it, I went to Abbey Road and we ran through with just Freddie and piano. It gave me goosebumps. It was magic," Clark told Radio 2's Zoe Ball. "Then we got down to recording the track and we [added] 48 tracks of voices, which had never been done in Abbey Road before, then the whole backing. "It was fabulous - but I still felt there was something about the original rehearsal."

Brought tears to my eyes and also memory's of so many things of times past.
Freddy had a unique voice and stage presence. Gone far too soon.

Yes without a doubt. In a class of his own and what a character Freddie was !
Queen used to make some great videos and so many amazing songs.
Remember the first one I ever heard '''Killer Queen'' around 1974, such a unique sound from Brian May's Guitar playing.
Great article underneath as to how Brian achieved that unique sound and look for the WONDERFUL cartoon picture of Freddie at the start of the article, portrays him so wonderfully well !

After reading about this video on the BBC news this morning, I looked at the video on YouTube and uploaded it on this forum at 9.18 am, just a couple of thousand views then, I just looked again and amazingly just under 1/2 a million YouTube views already e.g 456,811 views. At the current rate, it may well get up to around 1 Million views on YouTube by this time tomorrow. Looks like long term it is going to be a multi million views video.

I had the priceless pleasure of being at Queen’s last ever concert; Knenworth Park, August ‘86. 120k audience.

Sounds like an out take, that weren't good enough to be released at the time,
or an album track.
or an album track.

No just the Freddy Mercury on the shores of Lac Leman. Where he lived to dodge UK taxes on his immense wealth.Disoriented wrote: ↑Fri Jun 21, 2019 9:05 pmFreddie Starr has a statue in Montreaux?Max B Gold wrote: ↑Fri Jun 21, 2019 3:32 pm I've been to the Freddie statue in Montreux does that count for anything on this thread?

Shameful. That biopic of Sir Sean Bond should be shelved immediately.
