Apparently he's in the detention centre awaiting deportation. Now that's funny.Lifelongfan wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 12:59 pm Rules are rules. If we have to follow them then so does poor old Novak Djokovic. Hope they do not back down
The Nazis brought in rules, in the 1930's.....were they good rules? and anybody who objected should have been punished eh?Lifelongfan wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 12:59 pm Rules are rules. If we have to follow them then so does poor old Novak Djokovic. Hope they do not back down

South Africa had rules during the apartheid era.. they were good were they?
Some of the most objectionable governments have brought in rules....terrible rules, which decent people objected to
i learned long ago, that not all rules governments bring in, are good
Sadly, he's in a hotel not a Migrant prison on Nauru like the othersMax B Gold wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 1:09 pmApparently he's in the detention centre awaiting deportation. It's a matter of not being selfish by putting other individuals health and safety before anything else.Orient till I die wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 5:42 pmIt’s a illness to think like thisPoundhillO wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 4:31 pm Shame the English football authorities don't have the same sensible rules, not jabbed can't play !
It doesn’t. He’s appealing against the decision and the earliest it can be heard is Monday.Stan1972 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 6:45 pm Take the tennis racket away he is the same as anyone on the street, therefore pleased to see he has been refused entry!
Just confused as to why he was not put straight back on a plane instead of in a hotel to wait his outcome on Monday??
It’s simple, he is not double vaccinated, so cannot enter Australia, End of argument.
Why does it take him being held up in a hotel for 4 days to come to to that decision??

The football authorities should make a stand not only for the majority of footballers that have been vaccinated but also the football clubs futures and the fans that are adversely effected by the mindless minority that choose selfishly not to get vaccinated .
Being fully vaccinated doesn’t stop people from getting Covid, it greatly reduces the chances of getting it so badly they have to be hospitalised and the pressure on the NHS.Orient till I die wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 7:10 pmPoundhillO wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 6:29 pmIt's a matter of not being selfish by putting other individuals health and safety before anything else.

How are people that are not vaccinated putting people who have been vaccinated and boosted at risk ? Isn’t that the point of the vaccine ?

The individuals who are not vaccinated are are more likely to get Covid and spread Covid to anyone they come into contact with and maximise their own chances of getting Covid and putting their own lives at risk as well as others, putting unnecessary pressure on NHS staff , it’s very simple really.

There is no legal requirement for anyone to be jabbed. It’s personal choice. Until that changes, footballer’s can continue to carry out their trade. Makes no difference how we feel about it.PoundhillO wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 4:31 pm Shame the English football authorities don't have the same sensible rules, not jabbed can't play !
