Silly arseApple Wumble wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 10:31 am As much as I love to see misbehaved kids, or kids of parents who let them run wild, get their just desserts, I feel like it’s weird that an adult would think that their job, which effectively involves walking in a silly way, is more important than the safety of a child.
He is. It’s a strange job and is literally just for shoe, nothing else.Type high wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 10:37 amSilly arseApple Wumble wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 10:31 am As much as I love to see misbehaved kids, or kids of parents who let them run wild, get their just desserts, I feel like it’s weird that an adult would think that their job, which effectively involves walking in a silly way, is more important than the safety of a child.
Doesn't their job involve doing exactly what they've been told to do without deviation, though?Apple Wumble wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 10:31 am As much as I love to see misbehaved kids, or kids of parents who let them run wild, get their just desserts, I feel like it’s weird that an adult would think that their job, which effectively involves walking in a silly way, is more important than the safety of a child.
Hehe - if the soldiers had to continually dodge out of the way of all the tourists - who go there to see the soldiers marching up and down - then it wouldn't be quite the same spectacle would it?Ronnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 11:50 am I like the way he stomps on the prone kid for good measure.
What an absolute tool.
He clearly sees a child, shouts something odd and then stamps on it. Wonder if the reaction would be the same if he broke an armBoniO wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 12:01 pmHehe - if the soldiers had to continually dodge out of the way of all the tourists - who go there to see the soldiers marching up and down - then it wouldn't be quite the same spectacle would it?Ronnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 11:50 am I like the way he stomps on the prone kid for good measure.

The kids parents should have got him out of the way.
Think the child would be put in the tower if the soldier had broken his armApple Wumble wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 12:17 pmHe clearly sees a child, shouts something odd and then stamps on it. If it was my kid. I would have battered the soldier. Worker in uniform or not. The bearskin gets mown.BoniO wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 12:01 pmHehe - if the soldiers had to continually dodge out of the way of all the tourists - who go there to see the soldiers marching up and down - then it wouldn't be quite the same spectacle would it?Ronnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 11:50 am I like the way he stomps on the prone kid for good measure.

You're the perfect person to talk about just desserts being called Apple Wumble :-)Apple Wumble wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 10:31 am As much as I love to see misbehaved kids, or kids of parents who let them run wild, get their just desserts, I feel like it’s weird that an adult would think that their job, which effectively involves walking in a silly way, is more important than the safety of a child.
Bollix. The soldier should have stopped. Obviously hasn't got kids of his own.ComeOnYouOs wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 2:21 pm Having raised two children on my own, I think I'm qualified to have an opinion.
It was the mother's fault for not having her child under control. You can't blame the kid.... Kids don't have good spatial awareness, it's the mother's fault.
Glad the kid wasn't hurt, but the mother should be taking better care of her offspring IMO.

That thought did cross my mind but I'd still have given it a go. Whilst yelling Spateston Border Ya Bass in the way we did when we took on the Roaders back in the day.Ronnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 9:25 pmMax B Gold wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 1:30 pmIf it was my kid. The parent was not white, so probably knew they’d get killed on the spot if they tried anything like that.
