Koroma to Middlesbrough (Rumour)
My summer is being totally ruined. Bonne going was bad enough, now it looks like Koroma is off to Middlesbrough.

Re: Koroma to Middlesbrough
If it happens, fully expected. Again, the club will have been anticipating this for a while and we will have a list of players made over the second half of the season (at least) to prepare us for this. Obviously I hope Koroma is here next season, but he's shown glimpses of real quality and is fully worth a punt from a much bigger team. Good luck to him.

Re: Koroma to Middlesbrough
It’s genuinely baffling that anyone expected Bonne and Koroma to turn down Championship clubs in favour of staying in league 2.

No I didn't expect them to turn down such moves and good luck to them. I can still be gutted though.BiggsyMalone wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2019 2:44 pm It’s genuinely baffling that anyone expected Bonne and Koroma to turn down Championship clubs in favour of staying in league 2.

IfJosh goes up to dreary North East club Middlesborough, cant see him being happy there. If he is going to leave, far better for him to go to another London club like Qpr or Brentford.

Very clickbait thread title, deliberately worded as if it has happened to get people to view. Mods, please can you edit.

Fair enough. I was making a more general point, not just aimed at you. Saw a lot worse in the Bonne threadbobo66 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2019 2:56 pmNo I didn't expect them to turn down such moves and good luck to them. Last forward/Winger sent off to Boro was the great, the Orient legend Alan Comfort himself.....My Fav all-time Orient player.....
Whom was keeping S.Ripley out of the side until busting his knee @ Newcastle (i think....)

Wonderful player was Alan Comfort. Such a shame as to how his career ended far too early.CockneyFlower wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2019 4:17 pm Last forward/Winger sent off to Boro was the great, the Orient legend Alan Comfort himself.....My Fav all-time Orient player.....

If he was on something like 10k a week I don't think he'd be too bothered.EliotNes wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2019 4:09 pmThisSid Bishop wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2019 2:59 pm IfJosh goes up to dreary North East club Middlesborough, cant see him being happy there. Was a great player, has many a different view to myself but comes across as a nice guy. No doubt he will have been helping the squad/staff through the last couple of weeks.

Re: Koroma to Middlesbrough
Money is NOT everything in life, yes if other parts of your life are happy and in place, then it helps, but for a youngster like Josh, barely out of his teens, if he does move up north to play his football, then he will need a lot of emotional support if moving a such long way away from his friends and family, plus all the surroundings he has known in his life so far.Howling Mad Murdock wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2019 4:31 pmIf he was on something like 10k a week I don't think he'd be too bothered.EliotNes wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2019 4:09 pmThisSid Bishop wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2019 2:59 pm IfJosh goes up to dreary North East club Middlesborough, cant see him being happy there. Re: Koroma to Middlesbrough
4th choice? Orient played 3 at the back ever since he got in the team because he was undroppable. He’s going to be a fantastic player. He’ll be the best player at the club by the end of next season, if he stays.CreamofSumYungGai wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2019 7:35 pmIs that Happe, our 4th choice centre half?
