What are the chances of these four men even turning up for this court case ?
Little to none I would think !!

Four men have been charged with murder over the downing of a Malaysia Airlines jet in eastern Ukraine in 2014, killing 298 passengers and crew.
Dutch investigators have accused three Russians, Igor Girkin, Sergey Dubinskiy and Oleg Pulatov, and Ukrainian Leonid Kharchenko of involvement.
Passenger flight MH17 was en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur when it was shot down over conflict-hit Ukraine.
A court case is scheduled to begin in the Netherlands on 9 March 2020.

The same was said by Putin and Kremlin etc that all the Russian troops who showed up in the start of the Ukraine war, were Russian troops on holiday, who volunteered to fight in their time off !! Well quite understandable isn't it, the sort of thing most young men would want to do, go to get shot at or blown up ........err NOT !!

Yep, absolutely harmless sightseers .

It’s against there constitution to let their nationals be extradited to another country so nope they won’t be showing up to court.

just wait for them to go holidaying in The Hague, then nab them.

Almost exactly the same as the bloke who killed Litvinenko. Although the numbers killed make it a much worse atrocity.

Unfortunately I don't see what can be done.

Fighting in a war whilst on holiday, reminds me of the excuses that were given by some of the foreigners who were captured by American forces, whilst fighting for the Taliban in the war that started there in 2001 e.g ''Whilst on holiday in Pakistan/ Afghanistan, we got kidnapped by the Taliban and were forced to fight alongside them'' !!

War nowadays can be conducted in a few different ways compared to years ago, new methods include......under cover murders whilst on holiday, by imposing massive trade sanctions, online hacking to bring chaos to a countries computer systems and also as in this case, thousands of soldiers whilst on their ''Holidays'' taking their rifles, heavy artillery, tanks etc to go on their own private war.......and all to be done...... whilst on holiday !!

The first named Russian Igor Girkin could be in a bit of a Pickle. The Ukranian seems to be the odd one out does that mean they worked together or are the investigators not sure of the real guilty party.
