Difficult to know what this kind of thing does for the women's game - on the one hand, it discredits it. But on the other - it's attention grabbing - and that's what seems to matter most these days.

I suspect it was because there were too few Motherwell players in the team.
The gents team had the same issue for over 20 years. As soon as they included a few Well players we improved 120% and qualified for ritual humiliation at major tourneys. The one exception being when we smashed Englandshiresville 0-0 at Fortress Wembley.

Struggle to see how this gives the Womens game any credibility at all.
England's record is played 6 scored 53 conceded 0.
As sport it surely needs to have some level of competitiveness to it.

It is all about ££££££. Chelski Man City etc are funding their clubs far in excess of their income. They have superior facilities for their players etc

Latvia had no shots on goal during the game. I wonder how many times they even managed to get the ball into our half. East night for our keeper!
