Fleet midfielder Ebou Adams has today completed a deal to move into League Two with Forest Green Rovers on a two-year deal.
Mark Cooper’s play-off semi-finalists have signed the 23-year-old Gambian international for an undisclosed fee.

Adams was one of the Fleet’s big summer signings last year, having ended the previous season on loan at Leyton Orient from Norwich City. He certainly caught the attention of Fleet fans with a superb overhead kick to score against Gillingham in a pre-season friendly and he made 32 starts and a further eight appearances from the bench in 2018/19, as well as several appearances for Gambia in the African Nations Cup.

All of us at the club wish Ebou all the very best as he forges a career in the EFL with Forest Green Rovers and we thank him for all his efforts in a Fleet shirt last season.

Should stop any further debate about Ebou!

Adams played really well for us and was one of the reasons for the improvement in form when JE took over.
Quite often rated as M.O.M and a general mess up on both sides that he did not become our player as without a doubt we really wanted him.
So no point people on this forum placing childish remarks about him, putting him down. Regardless of how he played at Ebbsfleet, he did the business for us and next season let us see how much he achieves at a far better team than Ebbsfleet, my guess is that he will do well.

Hopefully this move goes better for Disoriented and Cheddar Bob, they were both left looking like mugs afater Ebbsfleet didn't get promotion last season, after they specifically followed Adams there as Ebbsfleet had more ambition than us for them.

They'll be grateful to support a league club again in Forest Green Rovers.

There's a lot of talk about getting someone better than adams, does anyone have any realistic players that fit that bill?
