There's some who think the Royal Family are a wonderful institution, but there are others who think its past its sell by date.

So, if there was a referendum today, asking would you keep the Royal family, how would you vote?

Tourism accounts for about 37% of our GDP, of which the Royals are responsible for at least half, so that’s quite a lot of per cent we would lose without them.

While my instincts are not pro-Royalist, the system of democracy we have seems to work ok with the Monarch as head of State, and I guess I like the historical traditions of it. So I’ll stay with it, just need it to be slimmed down a bit, so in some ways well done Harry and Meghan for jumping ship, providing they have jumped ship!
