One wonders how anyone can question how that great footballing nation Qatar got awarded the World Cup on anything but merit. Football history is littered with the great Qatar football clubs achievements on the world stage and any real football fan could easily name a dozen or so world class Qatar players. Just sour grapes, of course they earned the right to stage the World Cup.
