Braintree early kick off

Why kick off at 12.30 pm ?
Tradition is 3pm let fans enjoy the build up to a full house and finally winning something after 138 years then
Trophy final would be a free day out no pressure .
Not much pub time to catch up with ex patriot players

So BT Sport can show a game on TV

All games have to kick off at same time and you can't show live games between 3 and 5 pm on TV on a Saturday

Weird that, as if a non league game will affect attendances elsewhere.

Can't show any football at all on TV during the Saturday 3pm-5pm blackout. Eleven Sport fell foul of this attempting to show Spanish football which I doubt would affect attendances (mainly as they had so few subscribers). I would have thought given most people don't live within half an hour of the stadium if they watch TV games at the 12.30pm and 5.30pm it would have similar impact as far fewer pubs show live football. Been great for Rugby Union, which has scheduled a number of fixtures on the Saturday 3pm slot and got good TV audiences as a result. And if you happen to be outside the UK you can watch 3pm games.

Just a matter of time before the blackout is abolished.

Often do. After they first moved, I was travelling in on the central line from the east and was surprised there were so many blokes on the train. i was thinking there would be a big crowd at Orient that day, until I was the only one getting off at Leyton...

In 2013 a game between 2 teams in 9th tier of English football had to be moved to 5:15ko because of this rule

Yes, 9th tier

More east than north from Redbridge.
