Kenny 5-3-2 formation - Theo out of position
Great result yesterday and that was in my opinion because Kenny finally realised arron is best down the middle and not stuck out on the right wing playing 2 centre forwards and not Harry Smith flicking the ball onto no one.
Kenny loves the 5-3-2 formation but having theo playing left wing back is in my opinion a square beg in a round hole.
Orgi or wood should be playing left wing back really but theo is so good we have to keep him in the team so maybe let him float behind the front 2 forwards as another option to keep his attacking play and keeping him in the final 3rd where he is best not defending and being wasted at left back abit like a brophy situation again.

If you listen to Joe Gallens after match interview he explains exactly why
Archibald is presently playing wing back and its hard to disagree with him.

Another formation thread. Weird time to think you know better when we’ve just won 5-0.

Theo cannot play centrally. His pace is his main attribute, not his trickery.

Very happy with Archibald in the back 5. 2 real attacking full backs in a tremendous defensive unit.

Re: Kenny 5-3-2 formation - Theo out of position
I think Theo can play centrally, he's intelligent, quick and has a shot on him - I still think Kemp is the better option there as it's his natural game. Archibald himself says he prefers playing out wide and likes to run at people, even more than running in behind. He seems pretty two footed and so can play on either flank cutting in or beating his man to the byline. There's an interview with him on club youtube and he suggests he's very happy to be played at LWB. Personally I think we need him further forward because he's such a threat in and around the box.
