Clearly out of his depth. Feel sorry for him as he seems a lovely guy. However they looked worse than Orient yesterday and against an out of form Leicester.
At 5/1 he is worth a score. I think he will just pip Steve Bruce who will be the next to get the chop

Second sacking. Watford have already binned theirs.

Ah of course they sack their managers as often as they change their pants.

Interesting point (possibly?) do ex-players of a club make more successful managers?

The quick answer is no.
It’s just pit luck, how good is the squad? How much time have they go to make things work? Do they have the funds available to improve? Have they got the tactical know how?
Plenty ex players have tried and failed and are failing

He had a good season last year and has without doubt a stronger squad and team at his disposal. So why is it going wrong for him? I don’t know the answer as I’ve not watched play one single min live or on motd.
So why is he failing this year?

It’s been like this since he became manager. Last year looked better because everyone else was sh*t

They're often the early saturday game, so have watched them quite a few times. Their problems are both quality of players and tactical. Their midfield is not good enough, mctominay is average, fred is woeful, pogba doesn't want to defend. Attacking wise they play too narrow. both the wide players cut in, as do the fullbacks, no one stays out wide. Also think that Ronaldo should be on the right and Greenwood should play through the middle. Ronaldo is wasted with his back towards goal.

That 5/1 is looking better and better….
If ever there was a manager out of his depth.
Simeone could turn this around.

Can’t aee them sacking him before the end of the season but if we lose to the bun dippers on Sunday, it’s going to be a tough look

There is not a chance in hell of him being in the hot seat come end of this year let alone season.
He is a blagger living off the fumes of 1999. He did sh1t at Cardiff and he is doing sh1t at United. He was only ever viewed as a stop gap but did ok for a few months and the board seemed to buy into the hype.
Great striker, crap manager. Should quit before his legend like status is tarnished even more.

3-2 up against Atalanta from 0-2 down.
Ronny has saved his job for another week or two.

Personally think he’s done wonders with the unbalanced squad and egos he’s been given. Utd fans living in the past.

I think Man Utd will soon come to regret to have signed Ronaldo. I think he could unsettle the dressing room - he is no Scott McGleish.

They really should be challenging with the players they have.

How do you unsettle the dressing room when you help our team-mates out of trouble every week?

Why was Pogba not in the starting XI? Team of trick ponies up front: why was Greenwood sacrificed at halftime when he looked lively. He and Rashford better than Fernandez and Ronaldo.

I actually feel sorry for Ole. He is so out of his depth, he looks like a little boy who has lost his mummy in Tesco.
However he has also been badly let down by his team. Especially his back line And in particular Harry Maguire.

The egocentric and morally bankrupt Premier League interests me less with each passing day but Manchester United getting spanked rigid is never not enjoyable.
