Huddersfield are in pole position to sign him in £500,000 transfer.

Not enough.

Can’t see us turning down half a million for an unproven player at pretty much any level.

Ridiculous money for him, we would have to take that if true.

The way transfers have escalated it's nowhere near enough.

Considering everything we've been through since Beelzebub's first day until now ,I would prefer we kept all our best players until we've consolidated ourselves back in League Two . Obviously, I accept Josh will probably leave us sooner or later for bigger and better things .

Wouldn’t blame the club for accepting £500k.

BUT I still reckon he’s best served playing a full season in L2, at a club where he’s loved rather than going and playing for their U23s then getting loaned to Morecambe next season.

More to the point, I reckon he knows it too.

Well if it was to go through maybe he could return on a season long loan
Oh hang on didn’t we do that with Norwich and it went tits up

Josh is fully aware of Tristan’s situation. I’m sure that’s helping to focus his mind.

I'm not sure Huddersfield would be a good move for Josh in a number of counts.
First, Huddersfield is not a nice place. I've been there many times, and every time I was happy when I was on my way out. A young lad with no family there would surfer IMO
Next, he would as already said be lucky to be on the bench, and finally get loaned to another league 2 side. He might as well stay at this league 2 side.
If he were to go he could end up like George Porter, who went to Burnley. . Look what happened to him.
Agents will always try to convince a young player to go to a club because of their wedge
Would be a bad move for Josh..... He needs to stay put for a season

He doesn't have to live in Huddersfield though. Leeds is only 20 miles away or Manchester or Sheffield a bit further.

500k isn't enough, and we might as well wait another year because after he's proven himself in League Two he'll be worth double that if not more.

I think next summer he could go for free isn’t his contract up?

So we sell one of our best players before we even kick a ball back in League Two ? . If we really must, we could always sell him in the January tranfer window.

I believe his contract is up however, a fee would still be involved due to his age and the fact we nurtured him.

Ic Huddersfield.double or triple his wages , there wont be alot we can do to keep him.

Jobi needs to sit him down & say play for love or sit on the bench for £notes

If we really must then we wouldn't wait until a prime asset has fewer than 6 months left on his contract. No way does a tribunal award us anywhere near £500k so the longer we wait the lesser fee we get.

It’s potentially more money now, but it doesn’t mean more much eh longer term. How much is Tristan earning at the moment?

We need to offer him more money, extend his contract for another year, then hope he has another successful season with us and send him on his way at the end of the 19/20 season.

Ah okay didn't realise his contract expires next summer. Changes it completely and wouldn't blame the club if they decided to cash in. I think we're heading for mid table with or without Koroma.

Would be a shame to see him go though, best O's player since Odubajo.

Might not be far off £500k?
