Would be pretty bizarre if the procession started out in the middle of Essex and did go past Orient.

Would like to think the club will arrange a memorial service for JE so us fans can pay our last respects
I would assume his funeral BR will be close family etc only

Yes, that too. Which is understandable.

That would be subject to a Post Mortem, whenever that will be, because when someone dies very unexpectedly they have to
be sure that it is of natural causes.

A post mortem is only usually necessary if the deceased has not been seen by a doctor in a period of time & or
The cause of death was unknown
The club issued a statement saying Justin passed after suffering a Cardiac arrest .

That would be the the primary factor with secondary causes listed as cause of death. As he died in Hospital
I very much doubt there would be a need for a post mortem , unless the family are challenging the cause of death, which i would very much doubt.

It is unbelievable how slow the burial service is in this country . Unless you are jewish or muslim as follows with religous beliefs .

My mum had her funeral a week & a day after she passed away
Yet my Uncle who passed 36 hours later was buried 2 days before her.

In Ireland 3 days is seen as very slow which was the case for my uncle.

Muslim burials in the UK can take up to 48 hours

providing that the deceased did not pass away in circumstances that require investigation.

I wish you really would get your facts correct on such delicate matters

So can Jewish Burials but the majority would be buried within 24 hours where possible

I think there will be a post mortem and possibly an investigation into events at the gym. It could even be that his funeral takes place after pre-season begins.

It would be nice to have a memorial service for JE, so fans could pay respects, but apart from at the ground I can't think of anywhere big enough given the current swell of emotion.

No but as i am under immense life pressure at the moment & will be making a decision in the next couple of weeks to end my own life or not , having a C*nt like you chasing everything i say its starting to bug me.

Especially on a thread about Justins Funeral ,
And there were you talking about disrespecting the Edinburgh Family in case someone might be reading certain posts.

Amazing that that would be the thing you home in on there.

tuffers, whatever you're going through at the moment, I won't be so glib as to say it'll all be alright or anything like that but please talk to someone, be it https://www.samaritans.org/how-we-can-h ... samaritan/ your local urgent treatment centre or even feel free to reach out via PM.

If a Post Mortem was done it would have been done within 24 hours as JE passed away in Hospital & therefore to duty of care it would be a neccesity

I dont think one would be done as he had a cardiac arrest
& a defibrilator would have been used to restart
the heart .
unless the family disagrees with the cause of death which they would be asked whilst collecting the death certificate.

Without splitting hairs Sudden Cardiac Arrest is very different to a heart attack & E.C.G's & Bloodtests that can be done to define whether a person is having or had a heart attack can be done.

The major cause of death would have been The Cardiac arrest , the secondary causes would be lack of oxygen to the brain & other vital organs.

I would very much agree with a memorial service

My Dad died in hospital and he didn't have a post mortem for about a week so they're not all done that quickly.

Hospital post-mortem examination

Post-mortems are sometimes requested by hospital doctors to provide more information about an illness or the cause of death, or to further medical research.

Sometimes the partner or relative of the deceased person will request a hospital post-mortem to find out more about the cause of death.

Hospital post-mortems can only be carried out with consent. Sometimes a person may have given their consent before they died.

If this isn't the case, a person close to the deceased can give their consent for a post-mortem to take place.

Hospital post-mortems may be limited to particular areas of the body, such as the head, chest or abdomen.

When you're asked to give your consent, this will be discussed with you.

During the post-mortem, only the organs or tissue you have agreed to can be removed for examination.

The HTA recommends you should be given at least 24 hours to consider your decision about the post-mortem examination.

You should also be given the details of someone to contact in case you change your mind.

Sometimes there are more deaths than at other times but in the main they will attempt to do them fairly quickly ie within 24-48 hours.

My dad had to wait 4 or 5 days for his post mortem but he died at home & our G.P was on holiday so could not sign a death certificate. There will always be exceptional circumstances, to if & how quickly a PM can be done .
