Vigouroux. 6.5. literally nothing to do. Nothing. Zero. Zilch.
James 8. MOM. Hard to overstate how important fullbacks are in the modern game. We finally have two good ones. Some lovely crosses.
Wood. 7. Worked hard. Did leave some space in behind a couple of times.
Mitchell. 8. I love this guy already. Tough as old boots. Great positional sense. He will play for millwall in the championship. No doubt.
Beccles. 7.5. Great signing. 7 or 8 every week.
Happe. 6. Switches off too often.
Pratley. 7.5. One of those players you love to have in your team and would hate if he played for the oppo. Wound them up good and proper first half
Clay. 6.5. Being a tad generous as he is limited but when you are winning 3-0 away from home he must be doing something right. Does a job.
Archibald. 8. Great goal. Didn’t stop running.
Drinan. 7. Another who doesn’t stop running and it’s this constant pressing that other teams just can’t cope with. We are so fit.
Smith. 7. Goal. Played ok, would still like to see him be a bit more aggressive as he is such a unit.

Ogie. 6: gave away a stupid pen.

Jacket. 8. We have a manager and assistant who should be managing in the championship or upper league one. It’s the key to everything. Everyone knows their job and we look so comfortable. Wondering who I would like to see drop down from the championship for next season.

Rovers. 5. Awful. Wasn’t the best game generally with not a lot of football and plenty of stop starts but they offered nothing.

Ref. 5. Got about 5 bookings.

Agree with these ratings. We were nowhere as good in the second half, and didn't need to be. because we have a manager who knows how to manage a 3-0 lead . Starting to thoroughly enjoy this season.

I agree . That's what teams have done to us in the past so it makes a nice change to do it to somebody else.

I don’t think we should underestimate Joe Gallens role in our current position. Best assistant in league two by a mile IMO

I'm beginning to think this new fangled idea of appointing an experienced manager is gonna work out mighty fine

Yep, agreed with pretty much all of that. Would have struggled to pick a MOTM as so many good performances without anyone being outstanding but James is as good a shout as anyone, if only for the multiple assists.

Harsh on Wood. He wasn’t leaving the space, he’s a wing back, they just hid a couple of balls into that channel that Happe didn’t deal with.

Mitchell is getting better game by game. I’ve only just realised 3 at the back with wing backs was the plan all along - James and Wood are perfect for it - but we didn’t have the CBS to play it.

Pratley is immense. No one ever plays through us. Like, never, literally not even once. Teams are having to go long and wide.

Our fitness levels are remarkable.

We’re going up, absolutely no question.

Bit tough on Clay. He had a good game. Nothing flashy, nothing spectacular. But solid.

James MOTM by some margin.

Beautiful effort by one and all today. Mitchell my MOTM the lads a beast and plays like he’s 35. Hard to believe he’s still a teenager!

Apart from when 3-0, the ref blew up for an obnoxious challenge in the middle of the park and he boots the ball away, gets booked and has nearly all the second half to play.

Yep, was a silly, needless booking. The only mistake he made all game.

Agree with above.
Clay is in the team for a good reason: hustle, bustle, toil and trouble for the opposition. Some fans should take some time out and recognise his worth.
KJ has him in the side, and that's good enough for me.

Absolutely I agree it was needless and he will learn from it. However I have to say that I love the fact that he wants to win literally every battle so much out there even at 3-0 up and in the middle of the park he’ll learn to control his frustration.

Would prefer Kyprianou back in. He is more creative, can pick out a pass (not Clay's strong point) and can still do the hustle, bustle etc. His performance against a poor Southampton U23 team was outstanding midweek. What you can say about Jackett is that he is loyal and when things are going well is reluctant to change things. He also doesn't make a substitution just for the sake of it. Really thought Archibald needed to come off after his booking but late in the game he didn't chase down a Rovers player shepherding out a ball for a goal kick. Archibald, pre-booking, would have been harrying him.

Can’t pick a pass out ? It was Clays pass to James that allowed him to cross for the 3rd goal. Why would Jackett change a winning team, it’s only by playing the minutes they get the fitness, why substitute players when there’s no need eg3-0 up with no game for a week.

Not the hardest pass to pick out? I think we agree about Jacket's approach to substitutes. My only issue is Archibald chases everything down and there was always a possibility of him getting a second yellow.

 Hardly Pirloesque, was it?

Clay is a very limited footballer at this level but has bags of energy and doesn’t stop harrying, which works perfectly in the high tempo game Jackett has us playing (as long as Pratley is alongside him).

Hector was ahead of him in the pecking order at the start of the season and I’m sure will be again at some point. This Reilly I’m also expecting will go ahead of the pair of them at some point, once he has his fitness.

But for now, Clay is doing just fine.

Jackett obviously feels a tired Archibald or Drinnan is a better bet than a fresh Kemp or Sotiriou.
