Its great to see people work their way up the greasy pole, especially when coming from a disadvantaged start. Well done ladies.

It's possible for anyone to do it, if they want it enough.

Agree Thor in the main. I honestly believe most people can achieve if they want it enough. Perhaps not as much as these ladies who clearly have intelligence to match their desire and we are not all blessed as they clearly are.

But achieve for sure. If wanted enough.

We are aware, presumably, that there exits a social class system in this country, unless one thinks that certain "types" are born to rule. Social mobility has, apparently, declined since the early sixties when to be from a working-class background was everything to be desired and the toffs were learning Cockney in their finishing schools...
