This is a very good article about the demise of Reggiana under a foreign owner. When I finished reading I thought back to us and the reality is it could have been us. Thankfully we have good owners once more and in time I’d like to think they will be the best owners this club has ever had.

Re: Reggiana- Bankrupt
Salford are a different kettle of fish. Because of their profile and in most cases their affinity to the area, they can't just abandon it. Far more likely they sell/pass it on to a less benevolent owner who has to scale their ambitions back, leading to a fall through the league system.

Disagree, firstly the class of 92 are only 50% financial backers. If Peter Lim gets bored they'll massively have to par things back, and if the class of 92 get bored and sack it off it'll piss off, what, 2000 people, no real comeback to them, and can't see there being many wanting to takeover bankrolling them.LittleMate wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 8:08 am Salford are a different kettle of fish.
