Mid season break?

Post by RientO »

I read this today..

The Premier League will split one round of matches in February over two weekends, with five matches on the weekend commencing 8 February 2020 and five on the weekend commencing 15 February.

Will similar be happening in League Two?

Also noted the League Two Play Off is on 16 May before Premier League season ends, so I guess the final league fixture will be on weekend of 2 May which wouldn't leave much scope for a mid-season break.

PL clubs will probably use the `break` to go off to Thailand or California for some meaningless friendly to sell more shirts !!!!!

I thought I read somewhere that this was looking to be outlawed but was voted down by the bigger clubs - who will be spotted in far flung corners of the globe in mid-winter.
