Heartwarming use of tech

Technology will help partially sighted and blind with some sight. Mobile phones have been a great advance for planning and using the camera (instead of carrying around binoculars to help).

Sports and theatre will be substantially improved experience. Along with day to day living and hobbies. I think this is just the start.

That's wonderful, I hope the cost of that device can be made affordable heart warming to hear the joy in that young ladies voice as she was able to see properly.

I follow a podcast called Infinite Monkey Cage hosted by Professor Cox and on one of the shows they were talking about bionics and the advances that is making. The panel were agreed the biggest breakthrough in bionics will be the bionic eye and they feel it is achievable as well.

Bionic legs already exist, which is already being abused by rich celebrities who are using the bionics to become taller. It's happening and hopefully one day a bionic eye and ear will exist to bring those senses to people who have been deprived of those experiences in life.
