That was excellent. Hard to give a MOM as there were a number of outstanding performances.
Vigouroux. 6. They barely had a shot all game.
Wood. 8. In Wood and James we have two really decent fullbacks. Finally. You just don’t realise how important it is until you have it.
James. 7. Strong game but shaded by wood.
Ogie. 9. Joint MOM. Immense. We have a new defensive star and on that showing can go on to play at the highest level.
Beccles. 7.5. Good game.
Clay. 8. I thought he was excellent. Suits him when we go back to basics.
Pratley. 7.5. Was pretty awful against Harrogate but back to his harrying and chasing best today.
Archibald. 9. Joint MOM. From the sublime to the ridiculous but involved in absolutely everything. His crossing is Beckhamesque.
Hector. 8.5. From a wobble midweek to that performance shows his character. His passing was top notch.
Ruel. 8. Ruel scores playing up top in a 4-4-2 shocker. His favourite position and it showed. Absolute cracker of a goal.
Smith. 6.5 Was going to get a 5 before the goal. Missed a sitter with his head. Missed a sitter with an air shot. Got in the way of another shot. Then.. he scores and all is forgiven!
Subs. 6.
Jackett.8. It’s why you pay big bucks for a manager. You can tell the players had an absolute rocket following Harrogate and to a man they responded.
Bradford. 5. Were pretty bad but it’s because we didn’t let them play.
Ref 7. Good ref.

Make Beradogs spot on with those ratings. Got a big smile on my face, that second half was excellent, dare I say it, we looked promotion fodder.
Ogie and Archibald immense. The latter covered every single blade of grass, fantastic work for the second goal, probably just shades MOTM for me but Ogie didn't put a foot wrong. Wish Happe well but looks like the injury in the warm up was a blessing in disguise for us, there was an instant connection between Beckles and Ogie.
And well done Kenny Jackett, some of the stuff I read midweek was ridiculously overblown. But it's how you respond and how about that, outstanding.

It’s almost as if everyone has forgotten the first half.

Good ratings Bera and I agree about Ogie . I thought he was superb today and Happe and Thompson will now have a job to get back in the team. Bradford are a good team who I fully expect to be pushing for promotion at the end of the season.

In all seriousness, the turnaround from the first to the second was phenomenal.
Credit to Kenny for that.

Seems to happen every game for my liking , but what a performance second spin, a joy to watch and behold, best in a very long time.

You do get the impression KJ is learning how to play L2 game by game. We were very average in the first half but tanked them in the second. Ogie and Archibald were immense today and Ruel's goal was top draw but currently he isn't good enough to lead the line in a 442.

First half. Everyone apart from Ogie was a 3. After 10 mins of the 2nd half, at least 7s all round.

A game of two halves.
First half was awful, reminiscent of the cack served up last season. Kenny stuck with the 4-4-2 he switched to mid game on Tuesday, but with Clay put on the right wing instead of Kemp. Obviously this made us very narrow and somewhat lopsided, relying on lumps up to Smith that he hardly won. Bradford were by far the better side, knocking the ball about with ease although failing to create much.
I couldn’t see any obvious tactical changes at half time but our tempo was so much greater from the first minute of the second half. We were at them from the off, not letting them have the ball as they did in the first. By the end, we were worthy winners.
Vigaro 6
James 7
Beccles 6
OG 7
Wood 7
Clay 7
Pratley 7
Hector 6
Archibald 8
Ruel 7
Smith 6

Smith won 19 aerial duels yesterday the most of any single player in the league also won 24 on Tuesday night. That’s the facts.
How you can say he didn’t win anything is beyond me- he won almost every aerial duel.
Yes can be better positionally but that can be coached but he wins more than his fair share

Where are these facts coming from?

Leyton orient Twitter.
Smith scored a rating of 9.03 and was in league two TOTW (along with hector and James) he was also in the EFL TOTW.
Won 19 aerial Duels and they confirmed 24 aerial duels won on Tuesday.
Personally thought the last 3 games he has won the majority but think his movement can improve. Everyone sees a game differently
Archibald and ogie my standouts from weekend.

No way was Smith a 9/10 and no way was Hector or James worthy of being in the team of the week. So if that’s the same source as the 19 and 24 aerial duels won, I think we know how reliable that is.
Agreed with you about Theo and Ogie.

Might have won 24 aerial duels on Tuesday, but that was about 1/3 of those he contested.

Fair point.
I actually thought he won a few on Saturday, but was totally dominated on Tuesday.

I’m sure like I said we all read games differently.
As long as he keeps scoring then that will do me

Agreed. He was used far more effectively on Saturday. Tuesday was just brain dead football from the back going up to Smith.

I think we'd all agree with that Mstevens.
