Jimmy and Eddy (later Teddy) Sheringham, at the Sir George Monoux school in Walthamstow. Strangely we all thought that Jimmy was the better player at the time.

Following on with the Trinity connection, James Argent from TOWIE was in the year above me and Nick Browne the Essex cricketer was a couple of years below.

A year older, Trevor Hartley, played for West Ham and later the Football League's youngest ( at the time ) manager of Bournemouth. Tommy Youlden, various clubs, Captain of Reading, driven mad by Robin Friday. Most famous, two years younger was Charlie George, one of the few boys to get expelled. The creme de la creme however was in my year, Remi Adefarasin OBE :- His work on Elizabeth (1998) won him awards for Best Cinematography from BAFTA and the British Society of Cinematographers, as well as a "Golden Frog" from Camerimage and an Academy Award nomination. For his work on Elizabeth, he became the first black person to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Cinematography.

Not in my class so don't count for this thread, but several at my school during my time there.

Re: Famous people in your class at school
The only ones I can think of was Columbo who got done for flashing his tadger in the woods and then went on to rape and murder a young girl in the early 80s.
Except it turns out that he was innocent and the lazy useless cops had fitted him up. He got out after pleading his innocence for 20 years.
Then there was my old buddy and partner in the three legged race who went on to be the oldest squadron leader in history to bomb innocent Iraqi civilians. We don't talk much these days.
Except it turns out that he was innocent and the lazy useless cops had fitted him up. He got out after pleading his innocence for 20 years.

I could have mentioned Ally Dawson who played for Rangers but he was a few years above me but he died last week.

Can't claim to be clever or famously related. We were, still are and always will be numb nuts.
