We’ve already got injuries to our strikers so we could be toothless on Saturday. Might play with only one up front. Therefore I don’t believe we will be at full strength. Salford is most people’s favourites for promotion so we couldn’t have had a tougher start. I’d be happy with a draw but I feel Salford will win a tight game 2-1.

Tough match - glad it's the opening fixture, get it over and done with when both sides are still settling in etc. It would be a good draw 1-1.

We have very little up front, and Salford have the two bookies favourites to be the divisions top scorers.
I believe we will find scoring hard all season unless a prolific striker is brought in

Salford not bought in as many as you would expect. Probably too strong for us though. 2-0. Think we will be near the bottom after the first 6-8 games but slowly get better as the season goes on. Hoping for a play off spot. Think we may just miss out.

I’m not surprised you’ve said that considering the strikers we’ve brought in have very poor goal scoring records . TBH , I think we lost better strikers during the Summer. I expect both Wilkinson and Johnson to do very well for their new clubs. Anyway we definitely need another striker brought in.
