This isn't the time or place. Suffice to say the pageantry of reality TV is something authoritarians and TV Producers understand in equal measure. The behaviour of elites and celebrities packaged up as entertainment and sold as "reality TV" is the cultural signification of a ghost world of permanent precarity and dead dreams.

There is some truth in the appeal to those outraged by comments from the likes of her. Since Trump departed the scene, CNN etc has had a dramatic fall in viewership, especially overseas, as their main draw is no longer available.
