Thank you Justin

As the devastating news sinks in, I’d like to thank Justin Edinburgh for guiding Leyton Orient back into the football league.
His life has been tragically cut short, but he will live on every time the Os take to the field. We will be where we are because of him. His untimely passing cannot erase his legacy.
We will enter a collective period of mourning. This is natural. But the time will come, hopefully soon, when the dark clouds part and we are ready to celebrate his life. Not just at Orient, but his contribution to football throughout his career.
Once again, thank you and rest in peace.

I don't want to sound smarmy but at least he has gone out on top, a hero/very well liked in essence with everybody remember him with massively fond memories

There's two sets of quotes from him that take on a whole new meaning now.
One in the dressing room where he he says what an honour it's been to be a part of that group feels like a goodbye now, can't watch it at the moment it's too raw.
The other from the final day is perhaps his legacy...
"What we have to realise is that today is a start and we're not going to step back or stay where we are, we want to try and continue to move forward."
Thanks for the memories JE, forever a Champion, forever a legend.

And will never have the indignity of being let go for a failing season.
Went out as a CHAMPION

Looking back on when we first met;
I cannot escape and I cannot forget;
Justin, you’re the one; you still turn me on;
and Orient's coming home again
Thank you

He did an amazing job from where we were - a disinterested group of players and a fractured and bitter fan base. He turn it all around and united every person associated with the club.
I hope this all brings us even closer together as fans.

Gary Neville, who co-owns Salford City - who were beaten to the National League title by Orient, described Edinburgh as "a champion that managed a team that played with your spirit".
Wonderful words from Gary Neville.

It's taken a while to sink in but I am absolutely distraught. Tragedy for his family the club and all who knew him. He was potentially on the brink of an amazing managerial career. Sad sad sad sad sad.

Both members of the 'full backs club'.

I hope the stadium will be full to the brim at the first home game and that not one home seat will be empty. We need to show our appreciation of what a great achievement he got through the team.
