I just can't see us beating the Italians. And if they're going to win, I'd rather it happen in normal time and spare us the stress of daring to hope.

I think they are too good for us but Spain are the most similar team to us they played and they struggled for long periods.
Also got a feeling they may get someone sent off
But gonna go 2-1 Italy. England take an early lead but get pegged back just before half time and Italy break our hearts a few mins from the end.

We boo their national anthem and our players taking the knee mercilessly.
Tight, dour game for 55 mins until their little sh*t in the middle of the pitch gets one of ours sent off and they wind up comfortable 2-0 winners.
The bloke sent off is hung out to dry in the press for the next 3 months. Possibly longer if it’s Sterling.

Probably Italy 1-0, not sure I can stand the thought of England winning and all that would entail.

That's what I'm scared about because we don't do penalties . If we're to lose I'd rather it was in normal time . My head is telling me 2-1 to Italy but I'm praying it's 2-1 to England .

Same really. Watching England play in a final is actually enough for me. Winning would be great but not the end of the world.

A "Final" is what happens to your team if they progress all the way through a tournament. You may be unaware of this.

I admit, I have been pointing out to the family that Harry Kane is ex-orient every time he’s been on the box. They’re sick to death of it now. I wonder if it’s possible to create an England XI with Orient connections (however tenuous).
I can think of Peter Shilton, Alvin Martin, Ray Wilkins as well as Harry, for starters
