Dannie Bulman

Has signed a new deal at Crawley. He turned 40 in January, and could be playing league football at 41 next season. Very impressive.

“One theory for my longevity is I’m so one-paced I never did the damage to the quads and hamstrings that a quick player might. Also, as I never had pace I’ve had nothing to lose.”

Well done to him, to be still playing I’d also say he must have had a good record with injuries as over time they wear you down to the point of you’ve had enough.

You can't argue with his logic . Not many players get to carry on playing professional football past the age of 40 so well done to him.
