"Happe, 20, reportedly drew £200,000 interest from Wolves, Brighton, Middlesbrough and Norwich last season after a series of eye-catching displays for the National League champions".

L1 would be ideal for him right now. Literally no point going and sitting in Norwich’s U23s for a year, getting loaned out to Grimsby in the 2020/21 season, then getting binned off and having to relaunch your career.

I'm not sure but didn't the club refuse one or two offers for a couple of our players last season. With that in mind I hope we can retain our best players because we really do need to push on again next season.

At the AGM the management stated they had turned down £1M offers for 3 players. They did not name the players

He has it right, that indeed was the claim. I know it was the claim, because my reaction when I first saw it mentioned was "lol, no chance".

U should have gone to the AGM. There is no link as the Minutes won’t be issued until the notice of the next AGM. That’s usual company practice. Nothing strange in that.

No chance it was Marvin. Happe is a lot better.

Higher league yes but I have watched football for sixty years and in that time shrewsbury have done sweet fa in the leagues they have been in,I think most of us would be taken back if our good young players were sold to clubs for 200k who's setups are smaller than ours,shrewsbury's crowds unless playing Portsmouth ,sunderland are not big,hope our young players think the same and tell agents to take a walk.

Shrewsbury are in a higher league than Orient right now. Dan Happe will want to play at a higher level to progress as a player, and could realistically get games at that level. If he does well bigger clubs will be interested. And any player would rather play against Portsmouth and Sunderland in League One than Morecambe and Forest Green in League Two.
