I thought he was very average in that initial press conference alongside Lingy but that 3 really impressive minutes. Straight to the points, no waffle, says it how it is.
I like.

For anyone who hasnt watched the video, KJ says we are after an experienced keeper and mentions we also have Sargent and Byrne. This does of course imply that LV does not intend to sign a new contract.

Or could be putting pressure on Vigouroux. Thread title is clickbait, even if it is more likely that he's heading elsewhere.

Great idea, he is no fool, a Goalkeeper who stops a ball going in the net can prevent a game from being lost?

PROVE IT.
He doesn’t elaborate further so who knows. He doesn’t say we’ve pulled out, just that we are looking at other options.

Thread title has been amended now so no longer clickbait. Nice work mods.

I didn't say we had pulled out.

He’s deliberately cagey.

Genuine questions...
Who's available? From Jackett's interview we're clearly looking for experience.
Jamal Blackman, Stephen Henderson, Wayne Hennessey, Ryan Alsopp, Marcus Bettinelli, Jordan Archer, Sam Walker, Kieran Westwood, Andy Lonergan, Scott Carson, Jack Bonham, Steve Arnold, Remi Matthews, Lee Camp, Stuart Nelson, Lewis Ward, Mark Howard...
Just scanning through the list of released players turns up this list of senior goalkeepers. Some are not massively experienced, some are massively old. There are at least a handful though who tick all the boxes.

Don’t know if he’d drop down but Frank Fielding is out of contract too
I was just wondering . How many of our under contract players from last season has Kenny Jackett actually seen play ? If he's been watching our midfield then he might want to bring in another central midfielder .

Viggo isn’t going to sign, he’s have done so by now if he was going to. Really disappointing in my book, but let’s see who we can get in.

The POP's are probably principles of play. The first two start with the word professional. The last heading is FP (first principle?) and seems to be followed by the word foundation.

My best guess is it’s between Alsopp and Jack Bonham. I think I’m right in thinking that Bonham has worked with Kenny Jackett in the past so who knows. Gillingham did offer Bonham another contract but he’s turned it down . On his way to us maybe ?
As already said, a very direct interview. Knows what he wants; wants to set fitness standards and a pattern of play. Thought the most interesting thing was that the QPR boy is seen as a forward as opposed to a winger. Seems to want to use his pace to stretch and get in behind teams.
