Outcome this Season

Post by Sixtiesman »

The Os only have one Forward. I think they need a few more. Any News? It's a shame the existing ones didn't sign anew Contract Have we got enough experience to not go down?

With what we have and assuming new faces will arrive, of course they will. We won’t be going down.

My completely irrational fear, (maybe not) is that KJ cannot bring the players in and will give up and walk.

See he didn’t last long at Rotherham and always wondered why. (The other smaller club he managed).

We do seem to be very slow in our recruitment. Nothing new there then.

He is probably on holiday as usual at the end of the season and thinks you pick up the best deals just before the season starts but I can’t see Kenny Jackett standing for that.I had expected at least two signings by the end of this week.

I still can't believe DJ has gone and it'll be very difficult to replace him

Presume you mean DJ…….but anyway, does anybody know about Vigouroux ?? Is he staying……Is he going ??
Hopefully KJ has some decent strikers on their way to E10

Five weeks Togo until the big kick off, I will wait until KJ has done all his pre season work before giving an opinion but it may all come down to the quality of strikers we bring in.

So in other words it sounds like the problem is with you and your expectations, not anything to do with the club.

I don't think it is irrational, had the same thought. At some point KJ and Ling will clash, which one will win out?

Provided there's no drama along those lines I feel this season will be a "nearly" one with good entertainment along the way. The season after will be the one where the setup really delivers.

Challenging for promotion and if we don't make a minimum of the play-offs (but preferably a promotion slot), IMO that'll be a disappointing result.
