Lucky to stay in the EFL, after a poor injury hit time with us, although only a one year deal

He could thrive in the right set-up. Mainly played as a forward, with support. But it just didnt happen for him here. Frustrating player as definitely lots of potential but not sure he will fulfil it.

Derek Adams, mgr of Bradford seems to be no mug at our level so a good opportunity for Lee. I wish him well

You are correct and if he stays fit(big if) I think he will be up there amongst the goal scorers πŸ™ˆ

Turns 27 next month.

Still waiting on him to fulfil that potential.

You can see why people keep on taking a chance on him but sadly something ain’t quite right and he won’t deliver.

A really good move for him. I thought he started well for us in 2019, but he has had too many injuries.

It will be interesting to see if Adams can do something positive with Lee Angol. A few have tried and failed, but you can't help feeling that there's a good footballer in there somewhere.

Wish him well, a frustrating player for us and unfortunately injury prone too.

Being mostly played out of position by Ross and his injuries mean't we never saw the best from Lee . Playing for an experienced manager in his correct position and with the right support I think he'll do well for them .

Vigouroux and Brophy did, the main reason they joined. Now there off.

Angol definitely had some ability. Sometimes he might beat three players, but he could never beat the fourth one, if you get my drift.

Yes, it would be amazing to play League 2 football for Leyton Orient given the highest I ever achieved was under 10s Essex Sunday League

Has some good skills but not a lot else. Cant see him scoring double figures.

Wonder what the reaction of our fans would have been if we had re-signed him.

Not sure why Angol leaving seems to have caused some FOMO.

Because Kenny could've played him as the 6'2" Target man his system uses and he is. Instead of the winger he was deployed as last year

Target man? More meat on a chicken wing.

I don't know whether he's suited to a target man role or not on the pitch, but he certainly can't contribute much from the treatment table.

Suspect Bradford are signing him as a squad player and will give him sheltered minutes. We really need to sort our starting forwards out before we think about complementary players

Yup. If he stays fit and is played in a way that compliments his skill set. Always liked Angol, skilful and with an eye for goal. Great opportunity.

League-standard in terms of ability, but too injury-prone and with just about the worst attitude I’ve ever seen on the pitch. He’ll flatter to deceive and ultimately fail. Like always.

I always like Angol. If he is played in the centre, as opposed to wide left, like we played him, he'll prove to be good at this level.
Another player we played out of position!!!

Wasn’t he also a flop at Shrewsbury ?
