How many more players do we need to sign

With Happe signing centre of defence is sorted but how many more. A gkeeper if LV doesn't sign. A right back plus maybe a youger right back. 3 forwards. Is midfield sorted? Maybe a creative midfielder?

Very little creativity in the side at present, wonder what KJ makes of Kemp and whether he'll be used as a wide player or somewhere within midfield

I'd ideally also want a CM playmaker, someone able to drive play from the middle of the park.

Sure but we already have 3 senior pros for those 2 positions, plus Hector, plus young Young. It ain’t going to happen.
The best we can hope for is Hector keeps progressing and makes the position his own.

Oli Hawkins gone to Mansfield - we missed out. Him and DJ up front was Jackett’s first-choice pairing before the summer started. Getting a bit worried about the standard of forward we’re going to end up with. Looking at Joe Piggott now, but can’t see him signing. Hopefully Vigouroux will stay and we’ll 1-0 our way to the top 7.

You’re probably right but there’s a real lack of creativity in there. Hectors a good ball carrier but haven’t seen him make a defence splitting pass, for example.

Midfield looks woefully weak to me. If Clay and Cisse are regulars next season then I can't see any chance of us going up.

You’re probably right but there’s a real lack of creativity in there. Hectors a good ball carrier but haven’t seen him make a defence splitting pass, for example.
Lloyd James was the last decent passer of the ball we had, someone like him please .

Hopefully Rhys Byrne, Shadrach Ogie, Jayden Sweeney, Antony Papadopoulos and Matt Young will get a few games this season, but I cannot see them be first team regulars next year. We need at least ten or twelve new players before the end of August.

How do you know he wanted that front two pairing. DJ was offered a contract before KJ arrived and we don’t know anything about whether he wanted Hawkins. I’d say the chances are Kenny has been going for different targets.
