Why does the world even have a system of diplomats and embassies? Arent they just used for spying?

Seems like whoever did it was trying to send a message. I suspect the authorities know who did it but dont want the information to come to light.

Ive just re-read this story today .
Funny in the 1st bbc draft it mentioned ,
Im not writing the word for fear of being
Labelled anti -something .

Now no mention of this at all .

Dont recall seeing that.

I happened to be scrolling news earlt the other day
It was in the very 1st coverage of the story .
Obvioulsy wrongly reported , or told to withdraw it .

Either way its gone now so no issue

Then i wouldnt have made any kind of mention .

Corrected to make sure no mention of was made .

I have no idea , other than someone may have made a mistake . It is possible i made a mistake ,
But i dont see why i would throw in as part
Of my own reading experience .
I have an active imagination , but it wouldnt

What i said was while reading the story it mentioned
Countries thought to develop new technolgies .
Israel the U.S China & Russia were mentioned ..

The story was published some 15 minutes
Previously at the time .

I then happened to re-read the post

If you want dirt on Israel, you should look at the recent story about an israeli company developing spyware for govts to snoop on people, journalists etc.
