Launching 31st of May

They've signed some decent presenters and gone all out to sign high profile local presenters, especially up north and Andrew Neil is probably the best UK interviewer we have

Personally have enjoyed the cancel culture left getting angry for the last six months online about the whole idea of the project and things they haven't said.

Imagine it'll serve a purpose but won't come close to challenging the BBC.

About time we had another right leaning media outlet in this country. Can't think of many at the moment.

Which TV news outlets would you consider right wing?

I’m sure it’s funny that a few Woke snowflakes get all fired up but not sure it’s really worth the damage it’ll do to our society as a whole.

You do know that the term media does not only apply to TV

Well as far as I know though GB News will be broadcast only

They will therefore be subject to Ofcom regs and if you can't pinpoint another broadcaster who has a right wing bias then I fail to see what your problem is beyond crying for the sake of it...

It’ll appeal to Brexit-supporting northern spastics, I suppose. Not gonna change the political landscape, and once the advertisers, selling Pot Noodles and white vans pull out, they’ll go bust.

It will keep pushing things further right. It’ll certainly hinder any attempts to pull things back to the centre.

I know jack about this channel, only heard of it when someone mentioned it on here the other week in a previous leftie wum sweep, are they reliant on advertising or are there some big money donors behind it?

There hasn’t been a left wing government in this country for 42 years and there’s absolutely no prospect of one coming any time soon.

And yet Tory types feel the need to continue playing their violins and launch tv channels..

Maybe being insulting by woke Southerners didn't resonate with Northern voters.

I understand that the channel is very well financed.

As all new projects losses first few years and then advertising catches up.
