Especially like this. While I agree he isn’t the answer for manager at the moment , he’ll always be a legend in my eyes,

My Skipper!! :lofc:

This job was no reflection on Jobi’s ability because it can’t have been easy for Jobi trying to be in charge when Martin Ling had several fingers stuck up his bottom

Jobi a little unlucky but it may have been a money issue or certain demands made by Jobi that the board would not agree.

I have followed this club for more than 25 years and Jobi will always be one of my favourite players. A true gentleman and great skipper.

I wish him all the best.

As I player if managed correctly I thought he had another year left in him. Unfortunately he was managed by Embleton who overplayed him and then the club took him away from the pitch to sort out the mess of their own making.

A club legend for his second spell here, just have to put that last 16 games out of sight and mind and remember his goal of the season contenders for what he brought to LOFC

Been a good servant for the club and has always given his best. Not ready for the manager's job though and a relief that sanity has prevailed and someone with experience will be coming in.This is a real turning point with a massive rebuild needed on our squad and couching staff

I will go down whatever route i choose to .
Dont ever think i will be told what i can or cant say dear boy .

It is quite obvious the club has cast aside a qualified coach
Who is inexperienced & Black .

What you think i mean by it, is in your own head
Not Mine !

He defo had another season in him. But won’t happen now.

Probably go somewhere like Barnet as a player coach, then manage them in 2 years time.

Jobi has been a great player for the club it’s a shame he has had to hang up his boots.
I am sure given time and a good Manager to serve under he will become a good Manager too.
Good luck to Jobi in whatever the future holds for him.

Can’t he be kept on as a player? Even at 39 he’s still streets ahead of anyone else we have, or are likely to bring in.

On the website statement, the Board states that the club didn't achieve what they wanted. Perhaps if the Board, in their wisdom, had
binned off Embleton three months earlier than they did, then the club might, just might have achieved that aim.

He was brave to come back to us after what he endured from the fans in his first stint but turned it around miraculously. He’s been on an amazing journey with Orient when you think about it.

Wish him well and hoping against hope we can keep him around in some capacity.

But we got as high as 7th under Ross
What makes you think we couldnt have got back there with Ross in charge &
Jobi fully utilised as a player only .

The Fans Hatred of Ling & Embleton is influencing the owners far to much
Threatening not to buy season tickets , means they will react .

Some of them act like they are Beelzebub & not just Fans like they should be

Sad to see him leave the club. That’s 2 great servants to the club being forced out the door due to ineptitude above them.

The colour of a person’s skin is irrelevant to me in recruiting or firing with any job, and in terms of the O’s didn’t play a part in Jobi’s appointment or him being let go, and rightly so.

Good luck Jobi, if his tenure at the O’s hasn’t put him off, I hope he makes it in management.
