Preference

1. As an en suite adjacent to my bedroom on thr 1st/2nd floor

2. As part of a bathroom on the 1st/2nd floor like modern houses

3. On the ground floor away from the kitchen

Basically, not adjacent to the kitchen

I think you mean "What IS .....

It's the Dirty Harry (don't tell me you've not heard of him) of loo paper – "it’s rough, it’s tough and takes no sh*t". You haven't lived if you haven't wiped your posterior with IZAL. Google it, I'm sure you'll find all the info you want.

I remember Grandma & Grandpa taking me there when I stayed with them. There was a building/museum there with some fantastic stuffed animals.

How have we got from Victorian Toilets to taxidermy :?: :?:

No idea  the building/museum isn't there any longer but the park does have some some character. You also get a great view of Alexandra Palace and into central London from the top of the hill.

Hopefully any Victorian Architects reading this forum will take on board your preferences when drawing plans for new Victorian houses
