Some poor decisions by the SAF batsmen at times, but England were very good in the field, and that catch will live long in the memory. Loved the reaction of the lady immediately behind it as he took it.

England have found a fast bowler, Jofra Archer.
Hope he can avoid injury and perhaps get in the England team for the Ashes series.
He can bat as well !!

Is it allowed for a cricketer to gamble?

It was a great win by England. We certainly didn't bat particularly well but still got over 300 and we followed that up with bowling well.

Unlike Pakistan and Afghanistan, South Africa were tough opponents and we beat them convincingly, in the end, despite the BBC trying to make it sound close.

I really think this World Cup could be ours! I know chickens shouldn't be counted and all that and I'm sorry if I've put the mockers on.

Was lucky enough to get tickets - great win and great atmosphere for a cricket game.

England struggling a bit to chase down a decent Pakistan total, but not out of it yet. Probably good for the competition if England lose.

In the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy, England were talked up as being the favourites but failed in the semi finals against Pakistan. Again in this Competition, England talked up far too much, well now hopefully a bit more grounded after this defeat so get this game over and try to come back strong.

.. And as if to domonstrate this: one minute Pakistan all out for 105, against WI, and a matter of days later scoring 350 against the favourites.
