Who am I?

"What about food? I prefer a mixed grill - when I can get it! I am not overfond of fish because during the war I ate so much of it my stomach must have gone in and out with the tide. My favourite drink is tea, with one lump of sugar, while I never touch alcohol. The strongest drink I take is orangeade."
Who is this famous player ? Whose 132 page book padded out with rubbish like the above I have a signed copy of.

As a child, Churchill played with his tin soldiers fighting on the side of The Duke of Marlborough as he re-created many battles including the famous 1704 battle of Blenheim. All in all, it was good practice for the later wars he was involved in.
