Poor defending again but that goal started with their No. 30 running from 10 yards outside his own penalty area and after two exchanges of passes with his teammates putting a cross into a player outside our box. No tippy, tappy across the pitch, just direct up the pitch.

Game over. Absolutely noone following up on the rebound, stinking defending. Awful performance from back to front.
Least we can get on with the rest of the day already.

Kemp doesn't seem to be able to put in as good corners as JMD or Brophy.

Worst half all season for sure. Kyprianou has to come on second half.

Difference between their front men and ours is laughable. Balls not stuck up front once.

This job was always going to be hard we are going to get a thumping today and at the end of the season the owners need to take notice I feel for jobi career and reputation as a manager with our chairman’s throwing him in at the deep end

Game is gone so may as well try out 4-4-2 and see what happens.
Cissé for Abrahams at HT please.

HT. Exeter the better side by a mile - but not by those 3 goals. Suicidal Orient - very poor.

Re: Matchday/Exiles thread 6/3/21 vs Exeter
Oh ffs!
They need an absolute rocket at half time. Totally unacceptable.
The trouble for Jobi is that this squad has been built to Ross' requirements. We have to play a different way and Jobi needs to figure out a way to do it.
Its painfully clear that DJ is lost without a strike partner. He just can't play up top on his own. We need two drop one of our central midfielders. One sit and recycle, the other get forward in support. The most obvious choice would be to drop Cisse, push Freeman out wide right, bring in Kyprianou alongside Clay. Yes, its lightweight but its the most dynamic partnership we've got.

A deserved lead, no complaints getting beaten by strong opposition. They were at it from the first minute.

In the name of fairness Akinola at RB has been shocking today.
I'd rather see us now try out a new formation and sod it whether we lose 6-0 rather than trying to close the game down and keep it at 3-0. Win the second half as the old cliché goes.

Re: Matchday/Exiles thread 6/3/21 vs Exeter
With all but 8 players out of contract in the summer I'd just be reminding them that where as Leyton Orient won't be relegated the 11 players on the pitch might be if they don't pull their fingers out. If the likes of Clay, Happe, Akinola and Freeman don't want to be playing in the National League next season then they're going to have to up their game %50 between now and the end of the season.

Yep - I'll be very disappointed if he thinks this 11 can continue as is

Is it even that many? I can only think of these and at last count I made it 19 out of contract / end of loan.Eat The Rich wrote: ↑Sat Mar 06, 2021 1:55 pm With all but 8 players out of contract in the summer I'd just be reminding them that where as Leyton Orient won't be relegated the 11 players on the pitch might be if they don't pull their fingers out. Re: Matchday/Exiles thread 6/3/21 vs Exeter
Completely outclassed. We have not strung 2passes together. Our middle three of Cisse Freeman and Clay not in the game at all passing from all 3 has been horrendous. Worst display for many years. We are worlds apart from Exeter . Not one player is in the game. Poor DJ is completely isolated. Manager needs to give them all a rollicking. We need more than 5 subs on to keep the score down below 5.
