Did well with Macclesfield under difficult circumstances and only left Southend due to the absolute state of the place.
Get him in.

Why do you want a manager that was manager of one of our rivals no thanks

Doesn’t matter. I reckon he’d do a decent job.

He's already turned us down once as he wanted his own backroom staff and was told no, so he said ok thanks then I'm withdrawing from the process.

There is no way the owners haven't learned from their past mistakes.
It can only be a proven, experienced Manager at this level or above for them to save face.

Not going to happen.
The club is set up for internal appointments.
They don’t want the expense of a outsider who will almost certainly want his own coaching staff.
The clue is in the title, Head Coach.

Well as far as I'm concerned the club can sit and swivel, they haven't got a clue.
