Thinking about it it’s got to be him.
Probably taking his sciemetric test as we speak.

Anyone else who you think it could be that you'd like to create new threads for.

Just hedging his bets, having predicted it will be Calderwood just a while ago.

IF, he should get the job he needs an experienced assistant.
We need new ideas.

Jobi was screaming and shouting today. Probably a show for the owners. I think it will be him.

Yep, it will be him until the end of the season.

Why? He's not a football manager after all.

Exactly. We should get Phil Parkinson in, a proven football manager.

Love jobi, but I think we need some new blood to stir things up. It is all getting incestuous. Fresh ideas please.

Hopefully - at this stage at least - the club will be the ones to decide that, not McAnuff.

The owners love him. They ain't daft - they can sense his potential.
Appointing from within wasn't the problem with Ross - the fact that he never had the ability was the problem.

Lots of people show potential. Let’s fetch someone in who has a track record for a bit of a change!

Odd that you can measure his ability without him ever having managed a game.

He's had to do a fair bit this season. The players listened to him an awful lot more than they did to Ross.

Not Jobi, please. We’ve spent the last 18 months or so witnessing what an inexperienced manager is like. Jobi is a bona fide club hero and a great human being but he’s not what we need right now. Imagine if it goes horribly tits up and ends up getting the boot? That would be terrible, given the almost universal love for Jobi here.
He’ll be a great manager one day, I’m sure. But he has to learn his craft first.

I wouldn't be against it, the man's a born winner and leader.

The second half against Newport is the most obvious example.
Let’s put it this way, we’d be in a lot worse position without him.
And I’ve a feeling that this thread will have some legs yet

750 games from international games to NL and being captain in the Premier League suggests to me he has an in-depth knowledge of football, formations, tactics and how to lead. We can see he is a leader. I doubt the step up the Manager will phase him. I’ve no doubt the players already respect him, his knowledge and what he has to say.
