What we learnt from today

1. Ross spent too much time with Steve Davis with this style of slow , boring sideways tippy tappy football .
2. This 433 formation simply doesn't work making central strikers isolated and given very few opportunities. Just ask Abrahams who barely touched the ball in first half. Shame that 442 will never happen under Embleton.
3. Kemp is a downgrade on JMD.
4. The acquisitions of Thompson and Freeman is good business and gives league one pedigree but the system stifles everyone.
5 Same old record but when we cant break teams down and we can't behind them, Brophy is wasted at left back.
6. Calibre of players we have with additions should be top 7 but we will languish in mid table obscurity due to formation and style of safety play that Embleton employs.

Why the laughter? He is right, although I think Kemp needs a bit more time. I believe quite a few people were not keen on Johnson at first

I don't think Kemp is a winger. Remember Tom Carroll back when we had Kane on loan? That kind of role I think would suit him better I reckon.

Too early to judge re Kemp. Has a nice touch. One beautiful cross that ling got on the end of( then scuffed it). Works hard. Does seem a bit lightweight though.

Hard to disagree.

Bet he gets a better chance than JMD. He need to, thus far it looks like a downgrade.

That could be a description of JMD. Apart from the works hard bit obviously.
