As it says he’s been put on the transfer list so as to find a club who can offer him first team opportunities.

Not surprised.

Be interesting to see if there will be any clubs willing to take him on.

He's a lucky charm, promoted twice in a row without playing much

Nearly as many medals as goals then.

Fair one. Been a poor signing, but it's not as if we didn't know what we were getting, his season a carbon copy of his one at Tranmere except he didn't go out on loan.

I would think there might be a fair pay gap to the lower-half National League sides or top half NLS sides, so he might be reluctant to go. Hopefully we won't have to do a Boco on him.

Shows good ambition to seek an upgrade.

Can anybody see a club willing to pay any money for him? About ten bob should cover it.

No, if he went it would probably be a free transfer. I now half expect Gorman to join him considering how many times he failed to even get into the match day squad

True, and ruthlessness as well. A gamble that didn’t pay off, which is a shame for both parties really.

Gorman would be on the list too if he were.

Might end up being loaned out with Os making up part of his wages.
Same could happen to Gorman as well if he does not shape up next season.

Absolutely no doubt that it didn't work out, either for him or for us. But I can't help thinking that he has the attributes to be a real handful if he can only get himself on a bit of a goalscoring run. He reminds me a bit of Mooney and Cooperman in that respect - very much 'confidence' players. Personally, I hope someone does give him a chance and he goes on to do well somewhere. It probably won't be in the EFL though.

Yes. I posted that before the list was released.

Gorman needs a proper pre season, it’s only then that he can be judged properly.

Ron if the team play to his strengths which is a ball over the top or direct football he will do well. Too many times with us his back was to the goal and that’s not his strength.

Disaster of a signing, but what mugs are going to take him on?

Dis sometimes you roll the dice and a 6 comes up, sometimes you don’t.

He was a disappointing signing. Good luck to him, I hope he finds a new club.

Mugs who see his potential when playing in a role that matches his strengths. Can do a job, if used correctly, never really an option with us, always second fiddle to others.

Not entirely accurate, I feel.

Given that we knew what he was like, it is more akin to us picking up a dice that we know doesn't have a 6 on, and throwing it expecting a 6.
If a team plays to his strengths I think he could cause problems. We never did, and actually most of the time played to his weaknesses. He isn't a hold up player, nor is he any good at bringing others into play.

Koroma isn't either, but at least he can make a deeper role work as he can beat men and be direct, which has given us several really good goals.

I don't think it is really Alabi's fault, but we made a bad error in scouting.

Doubt we’ll find anyone silly enough to pay a fee, to recoup the one we paid. A rare low from last season. Awful player for his level.
