Honestly? Not really.
I may change my view on the day but currently not fussed about the result in the slightest.

Same here, it will be a great day out but I won't be that gutted if we lose. Just glad to be back in the FL. Winning the FA Trophy won't be that much of a surprise due to our size compared to other non league clubs.CreamofSumYungGai wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2019 6:01 pmHonestly? Not really.

Both he and Nigel and their families should enjoy every minute. I hope they have some special reserved places for Lindsey and her Team without who this Club would not have been in a position to compete for promotion to the EFL this season.

Lindsey and her team should be the Guests of honour

I'm just amazed that people aren't getting excited about possibly clinching an historic double. If you can't get into that you probably want to rethink why you watch football.

Re: Kent Teague
In the grand scheme of things the result doesn't matter. However it will be a great day and one we should all be looking forward to. How good will a no pressure game feel?
Wouldn't it be incredible to win two trophies in a season?

I fully and unreservedly concur with the comments about the staff who kept going in the direst of circumstances .. beyond heroes!
At the AGM, the Board agreed and added that all the staff are fully aware of the strength and depth of the fans’ feelings of praise and gratitude.

Agree, a win at a cup final at any level of football is something to be celebrated, try telling the losing team that it did not matter !!roffeys money wrote: ↑Wed May 15, 2019 3:07 pmYou'd feel different if you supported the O's.

Re: Kent Teague
When we lost at Wembley in 99, Cardiff in 01 and again at Wembley in 2014 I was in bits.
I honestly couldn't give a monkeys if we don't win on Sunday, personally. I'll be a bit upset for the players but that's about it. I'm looking forward to a day out at Wembley and all that entails with absolutely nothing riding on the game.

Re: Kent Teague
Agreed, not as much riding on it as the three playoff games so we can enjoy it, if we win then great and we have dropped out the league, then won both competitions we could realistically win at that level and got league status back very quickly. If we lose, no worries really. Back to proper football next year and everything that goes with it. Personally I can't wait to have two sided substitute boards back.Chief crazy horse wrote: ↑Wed May 15, 2019 3:41 pmYou can't get away from the fact that it's a Mick Mouse cup competition.

Same here. We've won what I really wanted so this Trophy is just a bonus. Don't get me wrong, I'd love us to win it. I've already seen us lose twice at Wembley so I'm hoping this is third time lucky. The Mindsweep wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2019 6:10 pmSame here, it will be a great day out but I won't be that gutted if we lose.
