Andrew Lloyd Webber

Post by Article_50 »

According to reports in the Press, he's worth £820 million.

I must add that we have to be so grateful for his generous donations during our hour of need.

I’ve donated near 60 years of loyal support plus money in the bucket in the dark days.

Hi, is that you, brastrapovitch?

Lest you all forget, ALW was at that Bradford away match. Which we’ve all agreed makes him a REAL fan.

And? Why should he? I don't get it, cos he's rich he has to payout? Don't make sense to me.

If you were a fan (fanatical) and had 800 million quid you'd easily chuck 100 mill at the club. A supporter is a different kettle of fish

All the same £82,000 would help
Even £820 towards the supporters club

True I would, but I'd also know I wouldn't see it again. Hes on record as saying that football investment is crazy, he was close to helping his brother however I guess he didn't want to give Hearn and silver or gold. I know I wouldn't want to give Hearn my money.

I know someone who is no longer with us and he was playing golf with Hearn and offered to buy the club. Hearn laughed and said this club will never be sold for a £5 on my watch, it's not for sale and when it is you'll have to pay many more millions than your prepared to pay.We all know what hearn did.

This was pre the flats.

I'm not saying he should. There's no requirement for him to do so, of course.

But don't turn round and pretend you're a fan when you're not.

I'm not a fan? Really? So I've been coming to Brisbane Road since 1975, I must be a Johnny come lately type.
