Brophy. Strong in defence and got forward when he could. 7.5
Coulson. Turned inside out at one point in second half and now has a full beer belly but did well. 7
Happe. Seems like the consensus is an easy decision red. If I was the manager I would be unhappy with it. I am not. Move along. 4
Ling. No point in scoring him as he could sit and knit in the centre circle for 90 mins and still get picked. Ok. I will. 5.5.
Cisse. The type of player that will get 6 or 7 every week. Never outstanding but always pretty solid. 6.5
Clay. Got stuck in. 7
Dayton. Not on long enough. 6
Dennis. Quiet apart from one great goal line tackle. 5.5
Johnson. Mom. Worked really hard. Tired with 20 to go. Scored. 8
Wilkinson. Anonymous. Clean through with 20 to go and a Blackpool donkey could have caught him. 5

Widdowson. 7.5. Did really well
Akinola. 5. Looked nervous
Macanuff. 6 shored it up

Ling - 2. One for each foul he made. Joke of a footballer.

Coulson - 6. Solid back to the walls performance.

Happe - 4. Got caught out for the red, very disappointed in him.

Brophy - 7. Yet another good performance from him, defensively and going forward.

Cisse - 6. Chased around and grafted.

Clay - 7. MOTM. Perfect game for him, running around, harrying.

Dennis - 6. Bonus mark for his part in the goal. Should have been subbed earlier, not involved enough.

Johnson - 7. Bonus mark for the goal. Didn’t do much else.

Wilkinson - 6. Cant fault his effort but nothing came off for him.

Subs:

Widdowson - 6. Soldi alongside Coulson, no complaints.

Akinola - 5. Vast improvement but can see why he wasn’t thrown in. Got a lot to learn yet.

McAnuff - 7. Should have come on earlier, great impact on the game.

Ling first name on the team sheet Tuesday! In fact first name on the team sheet for any game!

I think we'd all accept the point from that game against a Barrow side that look a decent under Dunn, looking to pass the ball and use their width.

Vigouroux - 8 - some excellent saves after one dodgy moment early on
Brophy - 6.5 - had a difficult game with them doubling up on his side. Few too many crosses coming in for my liking
Happe - n/a - possibly can blame the wind but was a stone wall red
Coulson - 7 - did well to hold the line with Widdowson
Ling - 6 - once he was booked early on he was on a hiding to nothing. too many crosses and possibly to blame for the goal
Cisse - 6.5 - solid cover for the back four but uncharacteristically gave the ball away quite a bit up-field
Dayton - n/a - was his usual anonymous self for the last 80 minutes
Clay - 8 - MOM. all over the pitch, protecting Brophy and the centre backs but was also willing to support our attack. Excellent assist for the goal
Dennis - 5 - once Happe went off and they put him in the centre he contributed very little and probably should have come off at half time
Wilkinson - 6.5 - if only he had half a yard extra pace we would have won the game late on. worked hard but had very little space
Johnson - 7 - you knew once he got the ball the equaliser was a formality. Worked really hard up front

Widdowson - 7 - the right decision to bring him on early and did his job
McAnuff - 7 - should have come on earlier, the midfield looked a lot more solid after he came on
Akinola - 7 - lot less crosses came in after he came on, do I need to say anymore?

He did. He also put in a couple of other tackles (including an horrific one that could have been a red). But that was it.
