I've been on several Interview Technique Courses, Johnson does everything that you're told not to do when being interviewed... I can't believe that he's been so successful in politics

Yep. Never bluster, lie or spaff bollox at an interview or get all defensive and turn around and search the room for mates when the heat is on.

It has to be " Call me Dave "Cameron. Unbelievable dereliction of duty. Calls an unnecessary referendum on EU, because he has problems with a few nutters in his Party. Soon as he realises he has screwed up with the referendum, say, " I am out of here". Absolutely appalling.

It’s an interesting question/ poll.

Thatcher was obviously outside the range, but I have Blair in a similar category to her in that they both were strong leaders who polarised opinion, and would expect such PMs to attract more votes in any ‘best' or ‘worst’ poll than weaker PMs.

Major was weak, yet attracts barely any votes (so far), the mists of time perhaps. Brown and May came over as similar, parliament ended up in paralysis under May.

But then again it could be argued that was all Cameron’s fault – stepping back from party politics he didn’t seem a bad PM in many ways, led from the front and visible - but he then calls an EU vote of which there were only two possible outcomes, one of which he hadn’t prepared for full stop, so he skulked off to leave May to try to pick up the pieces.

Theresa the appeaser. All the others at least have their own ideas albeit Johnson’s ones are poo poo. Theresa Mays citizens of nowhere speech where I thought we would finally get a conservative with a small c leader for the first time since Thatcher and she didn’t believe a word she said. Everything she did was reactive rather than proactive. She agreed with whoever was in the room with her at the time. She had no conviction in anything and was basically in the wrong job.

Blair promised a lot but ended up awful.
But Boris is incredibly bad but everyone knew that anyway so it's hardly a surprise.

I don't think theres ever been anyone less qualified or capable than Boris. Purely a case of who you know and having good strategists. I didnt think it could get worse than May but I think she was at least trying to do the right thing most of the time (for a Tory anyway) and was just hopeless. Boris is hopeless and doesn't give a sh*t if he breaks the law, is ethically bankrupt or ruins this country, he's purely in it for his ego.

Have to agree with Constanza here, for the first year or two into his term he was a very good PM, then he got bullied into the Iraq situation
by Bush and promptly disappeared up the President's arse. Never to be the same leader again.

Not just his ego. He's also feathering the nests of his chums and himself. His ilk are going to do alright out of this disaster.

Thatcher. Her and her cronies sold this country down the river so that they could make a lot of money for themselves.

The last three have been an unmitigated shitshow. Cameron instigated austerity and then the whole Brexit disaster just to keep his party quiet, then f*cked off never to be seen again when it all went tits up for him.
May had one job to do, and failed it totally. Truly spectacularly useless. Normally she’d have won this poll.
But Johnson has to be the worst of the three. Hopelessly out of his depth, he’s just surrounded himself with cronies and had given up any pretence of being anything other than in it for what he can get out of it for his kind. He’s totally under Cummings’ thumb and while May was hopeless she never quite proved to be as directionless as this over-promoted idiot. Hopefully the rumours about the tory ranks being increasingly tired of him are true and he’ll be ousted in January.

If Labour had had a more centrist leader and one that said we're going to get brexit done cos it was the will of the people.

Then you wouldn't have the class buffoon running the country. Anyone from London could see that from when he was Mayor.

I can't stand Boris but voted Tory ( Won't be next time) to finally resolve brexit.

I live in a Tory seat with a small majority 1,200 and wouldn't be surprised if they got ousted for the first time in 40 years at the next Election.
